There are quite a few pictures of the Stanley Cup, all on its lonesome, or being held by somebody from the Los Angeles Kings hockey team, among the photos taken at the recent Los Angeles premiere of the movie The Amazing Spider-Man.
I’m sorry, but this does not seem right. It’s like saying “Nyah, nyah, nyah!” to the fans of all the losing teams. Especially fans of the Canadiens, here in Montreal and elsewhere (hello Viggo Mortensen, wherever you are!)
And what were they going to do with the Stanley Cup anyway, fill it full of popcorn?
“I went to a movie premiere and a hockey trophy showed up.” Hmmm.
Other (smaller) interesting accessories at the premiere include shoes with a spider-web pattern on them, yet another pair of those scary, sharp and spiky Louboutin shoes, some kind of spider ring and a very large spider brooch worn by actress Embeth Davidtz (what if she forgot she was wearing it and then looked down. . . eek!!! )
